Welcome to BigDamnChefs.com, the online home for Big Damn Chefs: The International Browncoat Charity Cookbook! Big Damn Chefs is a collaborative charity project, a collection of recipes submitted by fans (also known as Browncoats) of Joss Whedon's Firefly television show. The recipes were compiled along with fan-made art and a few other surprises into a cookbook now available for sale!

Big Damn Chefs is produced by the Browncoat Relief Corps, a non-profit organization. All proceeds from the sale of the book go to Freedom From Hunger, a charity working to find solutions for hunger around the world.

Our first sales goal in order to send at least $1000 to Freedom From Hunger has been reached!!
As of 6/17/07, CafePress has filled 255 orders for 344 items at the Browncoat Relief Corps store, and we can send a big chunk of funding off to our worthy charity!

That isn't to say that we don't want folks to continue getting copies of the cookbook, oh no. There are still a lot of Browncoats out there who don't have their own, yet, and we need to continue getting the word out about Big Damn Chefs.
